  • Your Day Trip from Istanbul to Ephesus begins with a pick-up from your Istanbul hotel, where your driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Izmir.
  • Upon arrival in Izmir, you’ll meet your private guide and enjoy a 45-minute drive to the ancient city of Ephesus.
  • First, you’ll spend about 2 hours in Ephesus, Turkey’s largest open-air museum and one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Walk in the footsteps of Cleopatra, Mark Antony, Virgin Mary, and the Apostle John as you enjoy the stunning ruins. Your guide will provide insights into life in ancient Rome.
  • Next, we’ll visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where Christian tradition says Mary spent her final days after being brought to Ephesus by Apostle John.
