  • Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Kuşadası or Selçuk, followed by a 2-hour drive north to Bergama, the modern town built near the ruins of ancient Pergamon.
  • We’ll start with a visit to the Asklepion, one of the earliest known medical centers in the world, where innovative healing methods were once practiced in honor of the god Asclepius.
  • After spending about an hour exploring the site, we’ll take a short break for lunch at a local restaurant.
  • In the afternoon, the tour continues with the Acropolis of Pergamon, where you’ll have approximately two hours to discover its most remarkable structures — including the Temple of Hadrian, one of the steepest ancient theaters in the Hellenistic world, the remains of the Altar of Zeus, and what was once the second-largest library of the ancient world. Pergamon also holds special significance for Christian travelers as one of the Seven Churches of Revelation mentioned in the Bible.
  • At the end of the tour we head back to your hotel in Kuşadası or Selçuk. Please note that, upon request, this tour can also be arranged for guests staying in Izmir.
  • Meet-up location: We offer pickup from any hotel or location in İzmir or Selçuk.
  • End location: The tour concludes with drop-off at any location in İzmir or Kuşadası.
  • Duration: Approximately 10 hours (full-day tour)
