    • Start the day with an early departure from Istanbul and a 5-hour drive to Troy, where you’ll explore the legendary city made famous by Homer and see the famous replica of the wooden horse.
    • After a short drive, you will reach Alexandria Troas, a significant site in early Christian history. It was from here that St. Paul sailed to Greece (Acts 16:8), and it is also the place where he raised Eutychus from the dead (Acts 20:5-12).
    • The final stop of the day is Assos, where, during his third missionary journey, Paul walked from Alexandria Troas to Assos (Acts 20:5-6, 13-14), meeting his companions who had traveled ahead by sea.
    • Overnight stay in Assos.
  • Day 5: Pergamum, Thyatira, Smyrna (Izmir)
    • After departing from Assos, we’ll begin a 3-hour drive to Pergamon. In this ancient city, you will visit the Acropolis, Temple of Athena, Serapis Temple, Heroon, Sanctuary of Athena, Library of Pergamon, Temple of Trajan, Theatre, Zeus Altar, and the Red Court. Pergamon is one of the Seven Churches of Asia (Revelation 1:11), and it was once known as the place of Satan’s throne (Revelation 2:13).
    • Our second stop is Thyatira, another of the Seven Churches (Revelation 1:11; 2:18-28). This is the city of Lydia, the seller of purple who came from here and met Paul in Philippi (Acts 16:14).
    • Next, we drive to Smyrna (Izmir), Turkey’s third-largest city. Smyrna was the second city to receive a letter from the Apostle John in the book of Revelation (Revelation 2:8-11), a letter that expresses affection and joy from overcoming hardship and persecution. • Next, we will continue to Philadelphia (Alasehir). Though not as ancient as some other cities in Asia Minor, Philadelphia (meaning "brotherly love") was founded after 189 BC and was the site of one of the Seven Churches (Revelation 3:7-12).
    • Finally, we will head to Pamukkale (Hierapolis) to visit important historical sites, including the Gate of Domitian, Arcadian Way, Necropolis, and Philip’s Tomb.
