  • After meeting your guide, your day will begin with a visit to Dolmabahce Palace, where you’ll explore the palace for approximately two hours. The palace served as the Presidential office from 1927 to 1949. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, used the palace as his residence while in Istanbul, and it’s where he passed away in 1938.
  • Next, you’ll take a short drive to Eminonu, where your Bosphorus cruise will begin. During this two-hour boat ride, your guide will share details about the strait and its surroundings.You’ll pass under the bridges of Istanbul and see the landmarks like Dolmabahce Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, and the Anadolu and Rumeli fortresses, along with beautiful waterfront houses lining the strait.
  • Following the cruise, you’ll have the option to enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants in the area.
  • After lunch, take a stroll to the historic Spice Market, one of the oldest covered bazaars in the world, built in 1660 and originally a center of the city’s spice trade.
  • Your tour will then continue to Pierre Loti Hill, named after the famous French novelist, where you can relax with a cup of tea in a local teahouse while taking in the beautiful views of Istanbul.
  • At the end of the day, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
