Day-by-Day Overview of the 10-Day Itinerary
ISTANBUL (Days 1–4)
Day 1 – Arrival and check-in at The Peninsula Istanbul
You are met at the airport and transferred privately to your hotel to settle in.
Day 2 – Byzantine and Ottoman heritage in the Old City
Your guide leads you through the Byzantine Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. Lunch is at Deraliye Restaurant, followed by Topkapı Palace and the Grand Bazaar.
Day 3 – Palaces, spices and a private yacht
Visit Dolmabahçe Palace and the Spice Market, then lunch on a rooftop with mezze and seafood. After Taksim and Beyoğlu, the day ends with a private Bosphorus yacht tour.
Day 4 – Flight to Bodrum
After check-out you transfer to the airport and fly to Bodrum, then transfer to the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum.
BODRUM and EPHESUS (Days 5–6)
Day 5 – Bodrum Castle, the Mausoleum and a vineyard
Explore Bodrum Castle and the site of the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the afternoon, enjoy a wine tasting and lunch at Karnas Vineyards.
Day 6 – Ephesus and flight to Cappadocia
Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, have lunch at Selçuk Köftecisi, then tour the ancient city of Ephesus and the Terrace Houses. In the evening you transfer to the airport, fly to Cappadocia and check in at Argos in Cappadocia.
CAPPADOCIA (Days 7–9)
Day 7 – Balloon flight, Göreme and the valleys
An optional sunrise hot air balloon flight opens the day, followed by the Göreme Open-Air Museum and Monks Valley or Paşabağ. After lunch at La Reina, visit Avanos village with a stop at a traditional pottery workshop, then Devrent (Imagination) Valley and Çavuşin village.
Day 8 – Underground city and panoramic viewpoints
Explore the Kaymaklı Underground City, Pigeon Valley and the Esentepe viewpoint. Lunch is at Şirhanem Cave Restaurant, and the afternoon covers Rose Valley, Red Valley and Love Valley, with an optional stop at a carpet weaving center.
Day 9 – Return to Istanbul
After check-out you transfer to the airport, fly to Istanbul and check in at Çırağan Palace Kempinski.
Day 10 – Farewell.
A private transfer takes you to the airport.
